AudioRoute is operated by Arvital Soft d.o.o. (trading as Arvital Audio) ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Croatia. We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website at audio-route.com and use our services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you purchase our product or contact us:
- First name and last name
- Email address
- Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider, Paddle)
We also automatically collect basic technical data such as your browser type and referring page to improve our service. To understand which channels lead to downloads and purchases, we store a random first-party identifier in your browser and record it with your download and, if you buy, your purchase. It contains no personal data, is not linked to your name, and only correlates your own visits.
When you use the AudioRoute desktop application, we collect limited diagnostic and licensing data:
- Anonymous usage and stability data — such as app launches, feature milestones, and crash reports — associated with a random per-installation identifier, not with your name or email.
- For licensed installations, a one-way cryptographic hash of your license key together with that anonymous installation identifier. This lets us detect a single license being used across an unusually large number of machines. We never transmit your license key itself.
Your license is validated locally on your device and does not require an internet connection; the data above is sent on a best-effort basis and its absence never affects your ability to use the software.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process purchases and provide customer support
- Send transactional emails such as license delivery and product updates
- Improve our website and services, including product stability (crash and diagnostic reporting)
- Protect against license misuse, such as sharing of a single license across many machines
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, and sales tax compliance. When you make a purchase, your payment data is handled directly by Paddle under their own privacy policy. We do not store your credit card or payment details.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard infrastructure. We use Supabase for our database and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your personal data

8. Cookies & Local Storage
Our website does not use third-party or cross-site tracking cookies. We may use essential cookies strictly necessary for the website to function, and we use your browser's local storage for a random first-party identifier that measures which channels lead to downloads and purchases (see Section 2). This identifier is not shared with third parties and does not track you across other websites.
